Kids' Jiu-Jitsu in Torrevieja

After-school martial arts for kids aged 3 to 12: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 18:00, in 50-minute classes. They learn through games and age-appropriate drills, often in two groups (ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 12), in a welcoming, safe and supervised environment.

Your child doesn't need to learn to fight. They need to learn to believe in themselves.

What they learn on the mat

  • Discipline
  • Self-confidence
  • Emotional control
  • Focus
  • Teamwork

Jiu-Jitsu has no strikes: it's about control, not hitting. On the mat, kids learn respect and self-control.

Frequently asked questions

Is the trial class really free?

Yes. Your first class is free, with no commitment. Just message us on WhatsApp so we know you're coming.

I've never trained and I'm not in shape. Can I start?

Of course. Don't wait to get fit before you start: start, and get fit with us. The coach adapts every class to your level and pace, and men and women of different ages train with us.

What do I need to bring to my first class?

Nothing special: to get started, you don't need a Gi or any other gear. Just come in light sportswear and with plenty of eagerness to learn. Also bring your own water bottle and a pair of flip-flops to wear off the mat.

How much does it cost?

Your first class is free. After that, choose your monthly plan (final prices, no sign-up fee): Kids' Jiu-Jitsu (ages 3 to 12, 3 classes a week): €40/month Adult Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling (ages 13 and over, unlimited classes): €50/month Muay Thai: €40/month Combat plan (unlimited Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai): €70/month Discounts: 15% for families of 3 or more (as long as everyone stays signed up) and 30% for police officers. Not sure which one to pick? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help.

From what age can kids start?

From age 3. The kids' class (ages 3 to 12) runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 18:00 and lasts 50 minutes. The coach often splits it into two groups within the same class: ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 12. From age 13, they train in the adult classes.

Can I stay and watch my child's class?

Of course. In fact, we recommend it: it's a great way to follow your child's progress up close. Just one thing, and it's really important: please don't step in during class, so they can stay focused and listen to the coach.

Do you speak English?

Yes. We can help you in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and the coach speaks all three, so ask your questions in whichever you're most comfortable with.

Is it dangerous? Could I get hurt?

Every student is followed closely, with attention to their level and pace. Each session is designed so you progress safely, with good technique and consistency, in a structured and respectful environment.

I already train, or I'm visiting Torrevieja. Can I join the Open Mat?

Open Mat is on Fridays at 19:00 and Saturdays at 10:00: open training for people who already train. We've already shared Open Mats with athletes from other teams. Message us on WhatsApp first and we'll confirm.
